Ever wondered just how wild London is? Or what’s the name of that gnarly looking tree down the end of your road? This discussion on London’s urban forest could be the event for you.
Join author and blogger Paul Wood for an online talk about our remarkably green city. In his 45-minute presentation, Wood will be diving into the diversity of London’s urban forest, introducing some of the varied environments, spectacular trees, and some of the people who have shaped the city’s arboreal life over the years.
His talk will be followed by a Q&A from the audience. This is a free event but donations are encouraged.
To book your place head to the Friends of Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park’s website.
Paul is the author of several works about trees in London: London’s Street Trees: A Field Guide to the Urban Forest, London is a Forest and Great Trees of London Map.
